Arriving by plane (Marseille Provence Airport)
The airport is located 27 kilometers away from the city centre of Marseille to get there, there are four options:
The bus connects the airport to the train station (Marseille city centre) in 25 time by the highway.
It runs everyday, every 20 minutes.
From Marseille to Marseille Provence Airport from 5.50 am to 9.30 pm, every 20 minutes (except beginning and end of the day)
From Marseille Provence airport to Marseille from 6.30 am to 10.10 pm, every 20 minutes (except beginning and end of the day)

The Airport taxi station is located in front of the terminal 1.
Taxis operate 24h and 7 days a week to and from the terminals MRS and the MP2.
Between the airport and the city centre, the fare should be around 70€/80€ during the day and 90€/100€ at night with luggage.

For travellers who need more independence, you can also rent a car.
From the airport, you can take a train to Marseille city centre. Take the bus+13 from the airport (bus station – platform 5) to get to Vitrolles train station. This bus runs 7 days a week and operates 57 round trips a day. Duration of the journey is around 5 minutes.
Once at Vitrolles train station, take a T.E.R train towards the Marseille Saint Charles station (duration of the journey is about 20 minutes).

Arriving by train (Gare Saint-Charles)
When getting off the train you will discover the train station “U” shaped building with a large glass roof built in 1896 by the architect Joseph Antoine Bouvard with a metal frame structure by Gustave EiUel.
There are five options for public transport from Gare Saint-Charles:
Bus n°52 to Gare Saint-Charles / Métro La Timone : Stop located at Square Narvik
Bus n°56 to Gare Saint-Charles / Belle de mai La Friche : Stop located at Square Narvik
Bus n°82 S to Gare Saint-Charles/ Le Pharo Catalans : Stop located at the bus station – Honnorat exit
Night bus n°521 to Gare Saint-Charles / Luminy : Stop located at the Gare Routière – Honnorat exit
The 2 metro lines are accessible in the basement of the station
M1 to La Fouragère / le Rose
M2 to Sainte Marguerite / Gèze
‘My Driver’From the station, follow the taxi/metro direction down the escalators to level -1.
The taxis are parked in the 3rd lane of the “Bourdet” drop-oU point on level -1.
